The Howard Brothers: a Rundown
As twins, Jonah and Jason Howard are presumed to not only share the same DNA, but the same background in their musical upbringing. However in their higher education pursuits, they chose separate paths from one another: jazz and classical. After graduating, they combined their college experiences with their childhood love for rock to paint their own unique picture of folk music, now known as “The Howard Brothers.”

The Howard Brothers are a Folk-Americana duo of identical twins, Jason and Jonah Howard. The brothers combine the different colors of their roots in jazz, classical music and folk to paint their own picture of Americana music.

The Howard Brothers have toured across the United States, Canada, and Mexico thus far. Marking the miles in their live-aboard van, they have performed in festivals like Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, listening rooms and little theaters, and have never failed to find a wild camp, mountain bike ride, or foraging opportunity along the way. They bring a different adventure to every show, and are excited to find their greatest adventure yet in their newest album, coming soon. Both of the twins have toured extensively as members of other bands as well, such as the Tray Wellington Band and Never Come Down.
