The Howard Brothers are a Folk-Americana duo of identical twins, Jason and Jonah Howard. The band’s roots in the calculating styles of jazz and classical music and the passionate voice of popular song combine to make a music that knows no bounds. Out On My Own
Released under the former band name “Cross-Eyed Possum” in 2023, “Out On My Own” is a culmination of songs written by the brothers from their time in music school. The writing and arranging is influenced from their studies in jazz harmony and classical expression alongside more extracurricular adventures in bluegrass, folk, and rock, and features the talented Keenan Hammack on Mandolin and a portion of the vocal harmonies. “Out On My Own” acts as a musical template, a jumping off point for the Album and EP currently both in the works by the brothers.
